Can You Trust Somebody With Your Life?

Have you ever trusted somebody with a secret and then 5 minutes later you regret it?

We've all been there.

I once trusted somebody and unfortunately it became one of the worst decisions of my teen years. It was horrible finding out that my (supposedly) best friend betrayed me and lied about it right to my face. I mean, after all that time you spend with a person thinking you know him/her. Then, they betray you and you start thinking, was he/she faking his/her friendship with me all this time? I felt sad, angry, and played.

Years later, God is still in the process of healing me.

I started feeling no one could understand what I was going through, but I didn't remember back then that Jesus did understand me.

Jesus is betrayed daily. Yet, He never stops loving anyone! He is totally in love with us.

I know I can trust God, Jesus and, the Holy Spirit with my life. They will always be there for me, no matter what. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmTGLdSW5Sw)

Lose Years Of Life?

God gave us this temple we call "body" and people actually think that if we're overweight we will live longer.

Not!!

I asked 25 people(mostly teens) "Do you think you can lose years of life by being overweight?"

18 answered - Yes
5 answered - I don't know
2 answered - No

Think about it... If God planned that you will live (for example) 75 years. It doesn't matter what you do during that time lapse. You will live on earth the amount of time God planned for your life.

You get it? Good!

Now wait a moment!

That doesn't mean you can eat 5 pounds of ice cream and 10 hamburgers before you got to sleep and delicious krispy kreme donuts on the side(mmmmmm.. soo yummy).

The question is... "how are you going to live those years?". Sure, you can go crazy and eat all you want. It won't change the amount of years you'll live, but do you really wanna live your years not being able to play catch with your kids or grandson/granddaughter because you can barely move? Or even get too sick because you didn't take care of your body when you were young? Of course not!

I used to weigh 163 pounds and now I weigh 133. I'm still kinda overweight and I'm working on it. Believe me, it's not easy! I'm the kind of person that can gain a pound by just eating a slice of pizza. While my brother can eat a whole box of pizza and still stay the same weight. That kinda seems unfair to me, but thats my life. God is helping me get into shape by giving me motivation and being my strength. Again, it's not easy, but it's worth it!

Don't live a healthy lifestyle to gain more years of life cause that's not going to happen. Live a healthy lifestyle so you can feel good about yourself and enjoy the years God gave you on this earth.

"The One" In My Life?

When I talk about "The One", I'm talking about that special person. You know, that guy/girl that makes your heart beat faster than ever. The guy/girl that God chose just for You.

Nope, he's not in my life, yet.

Truth is... I've never even had a boyfriend before and I'm 20 years old. For me it's not hard to believe because where I went to school there weren't many guys and I didn't go out much, like other teens.  When I graduated from high school I studied from a college online. So, you get the point. No boyfriend, no first date, no first kiss,  but I still got my first heartbreak. Six years ago, I fell inlove with the wrong guy.

It's been awhile, so I can't even remember what falling inlove feels like.

But I just imagine myself loving that special person and that person loving me back just the way I am. It must be an amazing feeling! Especially, if you are certain that God chose that person for you.

God has told me a couple of stuff about "the one" He chose for me. Like, I know he can dance, he loves God with all his heart and God even told me that he("the one") prayed these exact words "I know you have her reserved for me".

Wow! Isn't that amazing? Knowing that "the one" really does exist. It's not a fantasy. It's real!  The only thing I have to do is.... Wait. I know it's not easy, but it's totally worth it.

That means God has a special someone for you too. Trust God! Be patient!
Everything is better in God's timing.

Normal Life?

Just a normal person with 2 parents and a brother living in the same roof.

Well, actually...
I Am Not Normal!

Normal doesn't exist. When you've met a real normal person, let me know.

So don't try to be normal. Be yourself! I know it's not easy being different, but if we were all the same, life would be pretty Blah.
Now the question is "who are You?"

I'm God's precious child.

If you want to know Who you are, like really really know then you just need to know Christ. No, i'm not talking about going to a service every sunday. I'm talking about really talking to God, depend on Him on every aspect of your life. Love Him, think about Him, breath Him.

If you have a real relationship with God/Christ/The Holy Spirit, I can promise you that you will get to know yourself.
